Q:

I see that in the Groupon you advertise that you convert 8mm movies to DVD but in a question above you have responded that you do not offer this service. Need clarification please. If you do offer it, at what cost?

A:

Hi Nicole, Thank you for your question. There is often confusion in the naming of the various video formats. The older film reels are referred to as 8mm film, whereas there are video camcorder cassettes referred to as 8mm, Hi 8 and Digital 8. It is the video cassettes that we transfer and not the older film reels. hope this information helps clarify matters. Please feel free to call if you would like to discuss your project. Q:

I have 13 video 8 tapes to convert. Can I put them all on one Groupon? Is the output in MPPEG format?

Hi Richard, Thank you for your inquiry. There are three Groupon offers: One tape to DVD $12; three tapes to DVD $32 and five tapes to DVD $44. Each tape will be transferred to a corresponding DVD. Q:

I have many purchased movies, Disney etc on VHS is there a reason they can't be moved to DVD and I assume one VHS per DVD even if more space on DVD

Hi Andre, For most slides and photographs, the cost is $0.35 per image to scan and store on DVD in jpeg format.
