- $109 for a two-day phlebotomy technician training program (a $699 value)
Over the course of two days, students will study and practice phlebotomy basics and job skills, from infection control and medical terminology to specimen collection and point-of-care testing. Though the program does prepare students for working in the field, it is not a certification course; students will still need to register for and pass any required certification exams. All programs start on Saturday, with daytime programs beginning at 10 a.m., and evening sessions starting at 5:30 p.m. Click here for additional scheduling information.
Medical Career Specialists
Medical Career Specialists’ team of instructors has one mission: to prepare students for medical-certification tests and future careers, all in one week or less. The nine different medical programs, which begin every week on Saturday, train students in a variety of professions, from EKG technician to medical-lab assistant. Within five days, students can learn about the complexities and procedures required of a surgical technician, or train to become a certified pharmacy technician. Additionally, the center also provides CPR and first-aid classes.
