Q:

Thank you for your prompt response about my first question about ordering any seafood on the menu for the Medieval fare! My next questions would be about the vegetarian dishes. Why do you charge more for vegetarian entrees when most restaurants charge less for meatless entrees? Also, are these vegetarian entrees authentic variations of dishes from the Middle Ages?

Nancy O.  asked on  Dec 31, 2012

A:

Our medieval four-course meal is served family-style, with big platters of food served at each table. Vegetarian fare has to be procured, cooked and served separately from our regular menu items. This costs us more in both time and money than our regular menu. In answer to your question about authenticity, the extra carrots and eggplant are definitely medieval fare, I doubt that vegeburgers are.

Q:

I do not eat meat, but I enjoy seafood. Are there any courses with trout, salmon, oysters, or some type of seafood that would've been consumed in midieval times? Nancy O.

Nancy O.  asked on  Dec 31, 2012

A:

Currently our medieval menu does not include any seafood. We do offer several side dishes, such as roasted carrots and yam puffs. We also offer a separate vegetarian entree for an additional $5; you must mention that you want the extra vegetarian entree when you place your reservation.

Q:

Is this deal friendly toward vegetarians such as my husband an myself? Thanks.

Wendy A.  asked on  Dec 28, 2012

A:

The four-course feast has many items a vegetarian can enjoy. Everything is served family-style on big platters set at the table. You reach for the platter that you want. No one puts anything on your plate that you do not want. If you tell us you want an additional vegetarian plate when you call to make your reservation, we can provide that for you for $5.00.

No, My Lady, the Groupon deal does not apply for that. The event that night is a special event, and not a regular Medieval Madness show.

Q:

Is there a limit to how many one can use at a time? We'd like to go as a foursome (two adults, two kids) - can I buy 4 and use 4 at the same time? Also, it says alcohol not included but the adult tickets include ale or mead. Could you clarify this? Thanks!

Carrie  asked on  Dec 28, 2012

A:

Yes, you can use multiple Groupons at the same time to go together. Sorry for any confusion! This Groupon cannot include alcohol as per state laws. You can purchase alcohol separately.
