Eatery dishes out New Orleans cuisine with a variety of po' boys, such as roast beef, fried shrimp, and ham and eggs, as well as wings
Making a sandwich requires only two slices of bread, filling, and an expensive machine that holds the slices of bread steady while the filling is shot in between them with some sort of air-powered hose. Go somewhere that has that apparatus with this Groupon.

About Melba's
Scott Wolfe, Sr. has lived in New Orleans his whole life. He was born here, he was raised here, and he drafted one of the city's most famous slogans ("You can't beat Wagner's meat"). And, he was here for Hurricane Katrina. In the disaster's wake, Scott set out to rebuild. On the ravaged corner of North Claiborne and Elysian Fields, just steps from the French Quarter, he opened Melba's, where Creole flavors and overstuffed po' boys carry on NOLA's culinary traditions. The casual space invites eaters to order at the counter, then bring their plates—heaped with fried chicken, po' boys, and hash brown creations—to a natural wood table, where a bottle of hot sauce encourages customization. For dessert, customers can choose from housemade bread pudding and red-and-blue-streaked vanilla soft serve.
At Melba's, Scott celebrates the city's tenacious spirit and dynamic culture. He also celebrates these town features with The Vine Community Church, a chapel he founded across the street. There, fellow New Orleans native Pastor Corey Hicks inspires a congregation, and a city, in his own signature style. Those who want to support the chapel and its efforts with city youth, says Scott, are encouraged to donate at Melba's.
