This trip is great fun if you go in with the right expectations. Don't expect to be roughing it in the woods somewhere, Meremac Valley Campground has a great mix of vacation (always a lively crowd at the pool) and camping (you still gotta pitch a tent and figure out how to cook over a fire). We had 14 people in two campsites and the front office was very accommodating, moving us to two adjacent spots and finding a float time that we all could make.
