Q:

I purchased the previous Metabody offer which expires on November 30 but I haven't used any of the classes yet. Can I add this groupon to my current metabody account and have 60 classes to use by Feb 28, 2013?

Vicki M.  asked on  Sep 21, 2012

A:

Hi Vicki! Your pass is going to expire Nov 30, so you wouldn't be able to have 60 classes until Feb 28 2013. You are welcome to purchase this new pass for the new expiry date of Feb 2013. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to use MetaBody's LIVE CHAT. We have Customer Service agents online ready to help you out with your current pass! Thanks.

Q:

For Steve Anderson's Karate on Walkley... Is this kickboxing only or is this for yoga? Has Yoga started there. I take kickboxing there now? If Yoga is going to be offered there..what is the schedule please?

Kelly  asked on  Sep 20, 2012

A:

Hi Kelly. Steve Anderson's only does kickboxing, not yoga. Since this is a yoga and fitness pass you can use your 30 classes for dozens of different class types, anything from yoga to boot camp, latin dance or martial arts! It is a great opportunity to try different types of classes, but keep in mind you cannot use this pass at locations you have been to before. Thanks!

Q:

Just had a fluke mini-stroke, and am quite out of shape, and would love to tone up and lose 20 lbs. Am 67, and used to swim a lot. Is what you offer for me? I have no idea what bootcamp or Zumba mean. Both words sound scary. What can you offer me now that suits my needs most? Lise

epiquette  asked on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

Hi there. All our classes are for beginners, and since we have many different class types you can try out several with your pass and see which ones suit you the best. This allows you to experiment without having to buy memberships at every single location. For more details on the class types please read the descriptions available on our website, CLICK HERE. There is also a lot of great info on the internet about zumba, for example. We always suggest you discuss with your physician before starting any fitness classes. Thanks and enjoy!

Q:

Are these passes yoga specific? or do some of these participating studios only have some version of aerobic classes? I have checked the schedules for some of the participating studios nearby to centretown, and some of the studios do not have yoga programs.

eva m.  asked on  Sep 17, 2012

A:

Hi Eva. The pass is for yoga as well as other fitness classes. At the 12 Ottawa-area locations you can take anything from yoga, to muay thai, boot camp or latin dance! The different locations offer different classes at different times you can take. Thanks!
