Q:

If I buy the one instruction class and one month membership groupon, will that one class be sufficient for me to be eligible to use the facility to rock climb independently ( without an instructor) for the month membership I get with this deal?

tara p.  asked on  May 27, 2013

A:

Yes, the $59 Groupon includes one indoor climbing basic safety class and a one-month membership with equipment rentals. You'll be able to use the membership after you attend the basic safety class.

Q:

It seems like you've answered similar questions but I need clarification. If I buy two punch cards - can my children each use one card (6 and 8 yrs old)?

Jennifer F.  asked on  May 24, 2013

A:

There is no minimum but the deals we have offered today aren't exactly targeted towards kids. Each person would need their own Groupon.

A:

Each climber needs their own punchcard but bear in mind that kids under 7 only pay $10/visit when with an adult. see our kid's climbing page here: http://www.metrorock.com/youth-programs/climbing-kids

Q:

Can I use the 10 visit punch card for my 3 kids?

Dave B.  asked on  May 23, 2013

A:

Hi Dave, Sorry but the punchcards are tied to the user who redeems it. The visits are not transferrable.

Q:

Is there a minimum age? My 10 year old and 7 year old would like to climb. :)

Dawna W.  asked on  May 22, 2013

A:

There is no minimum but the deals we have offered today aren't exactly targeted towards kids. the one month membership option would be good for you to gain access and to learn how to belay (either your children or other adults.) The punchcards would also be good as they cover gear rentals as well but please note that the punches are only good for the person who redeems them. So, you can't buy a punchcard and use it for yourself and the kids.

Q:

If you buy the 10-class option, must all ten classes be used before the expiration date of the groupon?

Adam J.  asked on  May 22, 2013

A:

Actually, the punch card needs to be redeemed before the expiration date, you don't need to use all the visits before then. Just to clarify, the punches are good for visits to the gym, not classes.
