A timeless holiday favorite, Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol returns in the Metropolis' annual production, which has been delighting audiences since 2001. Join Scrooge, Marley, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and a variety of colorful characters as they help misguided miser Ebenezer Scrooge discover love, joy and the true meaning of Christmas. The production features an adaptation of Dickens' classic by resident playwright Scott Woldman with musical arrangements by Micky York. York directs a cast of mainly local actors as well as Jerry Miller as Ebenezer Scrooge.
The performance contains fog and strobe-like effects. Young children may be frightened of certain characters.
