Mexicosina’s chefs add oomph to the traditional street taco, sprinkling sautéed onions and cilantro with oaxaca white cheese and chipotle spices. To create a cozy atmosphere, the staff has lined the small space with two-person tables and decorated it with tiny jukeboxes, which play homage to the eatery’s mix of Mexican and American classics. Wrapped dishes such as tacos and burritos envelop beef, chicken, pork, or shrimp in warm, handmade tortillas, also the preferred swaddling method for children of the corn.
