Mezini Restaurant & Lounge
Mezini Restaurant & Lounge was once just another Italian restaurant in a city full of them. That was before the new owners took over and brought in a chef with years of experience in some of New York's finest restaurants. Together, they made some subtle changes, peppering their revamped international menu with creative recipes from Italy and beyond.
It's no surprise that Mezini has slowly morphed into one of the most sought-after dining spots in Park Slope. You can't go wrong with classic dishes such as the lobster ravioli and risotto, but this place really shines when it comes to meat. Chef Oscar grew up in a family of professional butchers, and it shows in his expert presentations of pan-seared veal and grilled lamb chops. Beyond the food menu, Mezini distinguishes itself by offering hookah in flavors such as strawberry and homemade marinara.
