I can understand why this was on the cheaper side. I made an appointment for a 60-minute massage with hot stones. Here are some things to think about if you're going to get a massage at this place.
When I got there, I knocked on the door and heard a woman speaking another language on the other side of the door, but she didn't open the door, so I knocked again, still nothing. I stood there wondering why they wouldn't open the door, then I saw a small doorbell on the door frame of the door next to theirs. I pressed it and only then did a woman finally open the door. When I walked in, she was on the phone and I said, "Didn't you hear me knocking on the door?" She just said "Oh come in" over and over. I walked in and she led me and my niece, who I also bought a groupon for, to a room with two tables. I told her that I paid for two separate rooms. She just looked at me and said, "It's better if you share." I told her I paid extra for two rooms, and I felt uncomfortable getting undress in the front of my niece. She said OK and took me to the room next door, and before closing the door she said that it was supposed to be one room, I made her look at the groupon I printed and showed her that it was for two separate rooms. After I pointed it out to her, she said, "Ok, OK." I closed the door, got undress and laid on the table. I waited and waited but no one came in. After about 15 minutes I finally got up and opened the door to see what was going on. As soon as opened the door the woman who let us in was standing there and she turned to me said, "oh she's going to be here soon. In a few minutes." She didn't even have anyone to work on me even though we had an appointment 2 weeks prior. STRIKE ONE!
When the woman finally got there, she didn't speak or understand a lick of English, so telling her where my pain was and where I wanted her to work on was almost impossible. When tried to tell her more pressure or spend more time in a specific area she would do the exact opposite. On top of that she came late and finished early. STRIKE TWO!
When she said she was done I knew I wasn't going to tip like a usually do. There was just too much stuff they did to overlook. When I got dressed and came out, I saw my niece already sitting outside, I asked her how long she was there and she said about 5 minutes, which means her time was even shorter than mine. the woman behind the desked immediately said, "You give tip." I looked at her and gave her $18, which was more than what I think I should have given. She looked at the money and said, "What about her?" and pointed to my niece, I told her that was for both of us. Then she looked at the money and said, "You have to pay 20% for both of them. I looked at her thinking, 'what the hell?' Then I said, "that's all the cash I have on me." She quickly said, "We take credit card. Give me your card." I looked at stunned and bewildered and said, "That's all I'm giving." Then said, "That's ok." Then I turned around walked out with my niece. STRIKE THREE!
