Hand sculpted by Michael Garman, Magic Town is a 1/6-scale city neighborhood complete with 18 extremely detailed buildings. Using trick lighting, mirrored alleyways, and holograms, the diminutive buildings come to life, showcasing the inner workings of the small town. Magic Town, cut out of Americana clay, captures the daily goings-on of ceramic and holographic local residents. Moments often missed in the overwhelmingly large environment of the full-size world, such as a sweet first kiss, are visible in this micro-detailed microcosm of American life. Feel like a giant among mini men by peering through a window to see what the smaller-than-pint-sized citizens of the 3,200-square-foot theater do with their days. Michael Garman specializes in figurative sculptures and has presented his work to celebrities and heads of state, including John Elway, Ronald Reagan, Florida's noggin, and Burt Reynolds.
