Excellent. This is not your typical sports massage. Michael is extremely knowledgeable and he personalizes the session based on your needs. He also takes time to offer you tips on daily stretching that will reduce pain where it bothers you most. 100% convinced I should become a regular customer after the first visit!

Mike's instructions on how to do stretches and his concerns that we do it right, is better than the massage which is great.

Michael is energetic and super experienced and in tune with body dynamics. This is not your relax and lie down massage but more of a consultation mixed with his advice and insights. I found it helpful and am considering going back. His “office” is a multi-family home converted to an office. He has a single room, which seems to serve his needs well, is clean, comfortable, and has groovy art.

I went to Michael's massage based on my friend's recommendation. He had a pretty bad shoulder muscle spasm. Michael had made his muscle relaxed without squishing the muscle, but putting pressure on specific spots around it. I don't like typical massage, so I would like to give him a try. The massage was surprisingly different but effective. I can recommend him to everybody, as well as to the people who don't like or don't benefit from typical massage. He is a knowledgeable guy with passion. I don't know whether he invented this technique or not, but it is pretty different. He guides you to breathe properly while applying pressure on specific points (mostly muscle-tendon junctions). It can be tiring, but it works. Be prepared to listen to him carefully, and relax your muscles while breathing deeply.

Michael was great. His listened to all my concerns and made sure to work on the areas that were the most painful for me. He also showed excercises and stretches to do at home for continued progress. I highly recommend this place.

About Michael's Sports Massage

Some people excel at painting. Others may find their skills on the basketball court. Michael Roulston discovered his talent was reading the tension in people’s bodies. With a glance, he could locate the tense areas. It served him well growing up when achy family members and friends came to him for help; they were always surprised when he knew where to massage without even asking them. His talent helped him become a massage therapist.

After working as a therapist in spas, Michael again discovered another talent: using his skills to help athletes recover from rough practices or injuries. His sports massages increase range of motion and other issues that may affect a player on the court or field. His specializations—which include deep tissue and trigger-point therapy—also help clients suffering from chronic lower back pain and plantar fasciitis.
