Definitely the most targeted and therapeutic massage I have gotten; however, Michael needs to work on his communication. He would make comments like “your shoulder is relaxed now. Only it took an hour” I felt slightly embarrassed and put on the spot. Although comments like this can be interpreted as sarcasm and humor, they should strive to be more sensitive. His hands otherwise worked wonder.

Been looking for a masseuse who really knew their stuff, and a sports massage was what I really needed. if you have chronic pain and knots. this guy will know how to actually help you. not like other relaxing massages. I was an active participant and really learned a lot! Showed me stretches to do, and how to use the foam roller properly. I am going to keep this one long term!

Michael is a gem and a jewel. Extremely knowledgeable and efficient in making sure you leave with relief and an at home regimen to follow to continue the treatment.

About Michael's Sports Massage

Some people excel at painting. Others may find their skills on the basketball court. Michael Roulston discovered his talent was reading the tension in people’s bodies. With a glance, he could locate the tense areas. It served him well growing up when achy family members and friends came to him for help; they were always surprised when he knew where to massage without even asking them. His talent helped him become a massage therapist.

After working as a therapist in spas, Michael again discovered another talent: using his skills to help athletes recover from rough practices or injuries. His sports massages increase range of motion and other issues that may affect a player on the court or field. His specializations—which include deep tissue and trigger-point therapy—also help clients suffering from chronic lower back pain and plantar fasciitis.
