Troubadourable folk buddies Simon and Garfunkel once sang that “it’s all happening at the zoo” before retiring from music to live out their days serenely basking in the reptile habitat. At Micke Grove Zoo, supported by the Micke Grove Zoological Society, families and friends explore 5 acres of varied habitats that house indigenous creatures and exotic animals from across the world. Animal-loving parties trek through themed habitats that include Paseo Pantera, the path of the mountain lion, and Madagascar: Island Lost in Time, which features parrots, Madagascan tortoises, and a perplexed Thomas Jefferson. The zoo’s roster of more than 50 species delights with 15 types of birds as well as endangered creatures such as the snow leopard. Zoo members snag discounted items at the Zoo Gift Shop and enroll children in programs that facilitate up-close adventures with a slew of critters. Children can climb on the park’s playgrounds to emulate ring-tailed lemurs or bask in the sun like a wild beach bum.

I am so happy you had this deal. We are a single income family and every little bit helps

One of the only fun and educational places to take kids in the Stockton area.

The zoo is fun, not too big, great for families with small children. Then go to the park and spend hours playing on the many different playgrounds. I've been going to Micke Grove since my Grandma took me as a child and now I love to take my grandchildren. The pass includes free parking, that alone is worth the price.
