What You'll Get
Before man conquered his fear of water, he amused himself with dust sports such as pushing boulders off cliffs, wrestling tumbleweeds, and falling in the dust. Revel in soot-free recreation with today's Groupon: for $49, you get a one-hour WaveRunner rental from Mid Island Water Sports (a $99 value). This Groupon is valid at either Sandpiper Gulf Resort or Holiday Inn Fort Myers Beach Florida.
The experienced staff at Mid Island Water Sports rents Yamaha WaveRunners to aquatic adventurers, beckoning them to explore watery playgrounds for an hour of velocity-fueled fun. Up to three participants can ride atop the buoyant steeds and gallivant through Estero Island, which boasts waters relatively free from dense boat traffic and raucous house parties thrown by manatees. Providing a gargantuan riding space in the picturesque gulf waters, the liquid wonderland invites riders to rev up their adrenaline, racing alongside frazzled waves that are in training for challenging underwater triathlons.
All WaveRunner pilots must adhere to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's boating regulations.

About Mid Island Water Sports
Mid Island Water Sports set up shop along the aqua shorelines of Ostego Bay to give everyone easy access to the Gulf, while also giving them enough room to ride free. From two locations, the crew hooks up aquatic adventurers with WaveRunners for freestyle rides along sandy beaches in one of the largest riding areas in the Gulf. Longtime locals lead tours via WaveRunner to spot dolphins breaking the sea's surface and manatees playing with sea kittens. To give locals and visitors an exhilarating new way to take in the Gulf's scenic vistas, the shop's US Coast Guard–certified captain sends them soaring behind him during parasail rides tethered to his high-tech, winch-style parasail boat for an adventuresome trip along the south end of Fort Myers Beach.
