About Midas

What began more than 50 years ago as a single auto-repair outlet in Macon, Georgia, is known across America today as Midas. The trusted chain of car-repair shops spans 17 countries worldwide, and each location employs a skilled, reliable staff that strives to keep drivers and their families safe. This goal is perhaps best embodied by the Midas Touch Courtesy Check, a service during which technicians check fluid levels and tires for safety and check the area under the vehicle to make sure Robert De Niro isn’t trying to hitch a free ride. Once they've given vehicles the once-over, mechanics can then prescribe any necessary services to keep cars running smoothly, such as brake repair, filter changes, alignments, and engine tune-ups.

Location charges amount $24.06 which is not listed anywhere on Groupon advertisement as I have a 2020 Ford Fusion. The rep Jorge originally told me when I left “Don’t buy anymore Groupons we will give you their price”. While I was there the rep advised me while inspecting my car my right front tire had a “hop” in it when I confirmed I did not want to buy a tire he advised he would proceed with the alignment. After test driving the car I was checked out and told I was good to go. I drove the vehicle not even 4 miles and it still did the EXACT same pulling to the exact side and same degree! I turned around and went back to Midas only for them to tell me “I need to change the front passenger tire” there was nothing more they could do the alignment standards are set perfectly. The thing that irks me is when my vehicle was test driven before handing me my keys they could have confirmed the alignment did not take and the car was still giving me the SAME problem. The fact that not only did you charge me an unmentioned fee you did not or were not able to fix the alignment and still sent me on my way without a care in the world. You do not treat customers that way. Be honest and reputable! If the problem was not fixed you don’t give me my keys and send me on my way for me to discover the service I OVERPAID for was for NOTHING. Do better to people especially new mothers! I was in there caring for my 3 month old daughter did that give you no inkling to try and be honest?
