Much like humans, houses are haunted by the skeletons in their closet and memories of the shag carpet they had well into the ’90s. Relive a mansion’s past horrors with today’s Groupon to Midnight Productions’ Haunted House in the Hollow in Newtown. Choose between the following options:
- For $24, you get two R.I.P. passes to the house, which allow you to bypass the line (a $50 value).
- For $40, you get four R.I.P. passes to the house (a $100 value).<p>
The Groupon is not valid on October 15 or 22. Visit the haunted house’s website to view the available October dates.
At Haunted House in the Hollow, thrill seekers wander under cobweb-strewn arches, through haunted libraries, and around a vast, spooky cemetery. Intrepid explorers discover the Victorian home’s hair-raising secrets while creeping through 17 shriek-inducing rooms, including camouflaged doorways and dank underground cellars populated by horrifying ghouls. Survivors must exit through the fog-filled cemetery that lurks behind the mansion, discovering too late that the gravedigger is actually an undercover subpoena server. Afterwards, the recently spooked can recuperate in front of a bonfire, where refreshments are available for an additional cost and undead bands jam out with live entertainment.
Midnight Productions stages professional theater performances with an emphasis on special effects and technical splendor. This commitment to impressive displays of lighting, sound, and scenery characterizes the company's annual productions, which include a run of Jesus Christ Superstar and a thrilling haunted house in Newtown.

“We had such a great time! The special effects were outstanding and everyone was so dedicated to preserving the haunted feel of the manor that it was truly an awesome experience. As someone who has worked in the Deaf community for many years, it was especially nice to be greeted by someone signing. (: Thanks so much!”
