Every week you come home from karate class looking for a place to hangout with karate classmates. Look no further because today's Groupon gets you a great time and great food at the great Midtown Tavern.
Chef Robert Cassi serves up a diverse American menu, using as many all-natural, locally grown ingredients as possible to satiate your taste buds after a long week of karate training. Enjoy stomach-stuffers like the southern gentleman (pimento cheese-stuffed burger with pepper bacon and green tomato chow chow), fish and chips (ale-dipped haddock with jalapeno tartar sauce), or credo asado (slow-roasted Cuban-style pork with creamy slaw and sweet pickles). If you're searching for tasty bar snacks, Midtown offers intriguing options like buttermilk fried chicken fingers and Midtown nachos topped with marinated hanger steak or grilled portabella mushrooms, pico de gallo, havarti, and avocado. Enjoy each of the more than 36 bottled beers, nearly a dozen drafts, cocktails, and wine.
Midtown's grub isn't the only thing that'll keep you and your karate friends occupied. Stop by for weekly events including live music, karaoke, DJs, and poker tournaments, or entertain yourselves with TVs, pool tables, video games, dartboards, and board-breaking demonstrations.
If your karate class gets out late, bring your late-night appetite because Cassi will be ready. Midtown's kitchen is open until 2 a.m. every night, except for Sunday when it closes at midnight.
