Midway Paintball Facility sprawls across 22 acres polka-dotted by six themed playing fields with inflatable speedball barricades and wooden structures for strategic play. Once players are equipped with a mask, gun, and optional torso protection, referees lead groups into polychromatic bouts of capture the flag, save the king, total elimination, and adrenaline-fueled rock-paper-scissors. Players dive behind corrugated pipe in the fast-paced hyperball field or pop out of a wooden tank in the 60,000-square-foot "battlefield" to fire off a flurry of rounds and reduce once-fearsome adversaries to tame replicas of Jackson Pollock paintings. Groups are divided according to experience levels, helping to ensure safe, competitive play for all pigment slingers.
Midway Paintball Facility's staging area hosts a viewing area for noncombatants. Changing rooms are also available for players to swap out street duds for long-sleeved, paint-ready clothing or a tuxedo they don't want to look like everybody else's.
