Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

CAN YOU TELL ME IF THE CHEMICAL USED IS GLYCOLIC ACID OR SALICILIC ACID?

Peggy G.  asked on  Apr 21, 2013

A:

Dear Peggy, we have different combinations and concentrations of glycolic, lactic and/or salicylic acid. Product is administered based on the individual skin type, sensitivity, and the desired treatment effect. For example, if one desires to treat acne prone skin, he/she might benefit from starting with a salicylic acid peel which will open the pores and decrease the inflammation, and have then follow up treatment with a glycolic/lactic mix to diminish left over scarring and hyperpigmentation. Hope this helps.
