Q:

So does it just take you less than a day to paint a 700SF area including baseboards, trims and doors? I'm quite on a budget and I can skip the priming as I already painted half of the room without doing so and the paint looks great (the walls were already primed from the old paint job). So for example I have a 10x12 room and I already painted 2 of the walls, will you just charge me half for that room?

Q:

Ok, I skimmed through the whole Q&A and I understand that you charge $35/hr for anything beyond 120SF, 240SF, or 360SF for 1, 2, or 3 rooms respectively, but you have not answered how much you charge for painting trim and baseboards as I understand that they cost more (perhaps even double?) than just priming or painting the walls. So how much do you charge per hour or per room for painting trims and baseboards? And how much do you charge for moving furniture? I also read that you take more time than normal in painting so that would increase the cost more.

JB T.  asked on  Aug 3, 2012

A:

$35 per hour to paint trim and baseboards, it depends on if there is crown molding, how many baseboards you have. Call to discuss.(415) 794-8299

Q:

I did all of the painting in my house except for the ceiling. Does this deal apply? If so, which deal would cover the cost. I have an average one story house, needs celing only painted on 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, hallway, living room, kitchen and dining room.

mai  asked on  Aug 3, 2012

A:

Measure it and 10x12 is the $89, if it's more then you can purchase more based on the size.

Q:

If I paint the ceiling and trim PRIOR (my bathroom needs a color change) will the prep/painting damage the prep I do? I would pay to have you all do it but the open-endness of "an estimate will be given" isn't a chance I want to take. Also, I have read thru all the responses I don't see whether or not the customer needs to provide materials BESIDES paint & primer. If so, what materials are you talking about?

MzBarbi  asked on  Aug 4, 2012

A:

Materials meaning, tape, plastic & which color paint that you want, call me to discuss. (415) 794-8299

Q:

Look, you're getting a lot of questions here - many of the same because the questions are not being answered. Please answer the most basic...what exactly is included in the $89 voucher. Please don't just say you'll tell me only after "accessing my house". You said "materials are not included" - does this mean I even have to give you the paint brush? So: #1. What EXACT list of "materials" do you require besides paint? #2. Do you move furnitures or does the customer have to move them for you? I'm getting the feeling this is not a deal at all but instead just a solicitation or scam to generate leads and lock people into paying a min of $89 for an ESTIMATE. Make me think otherwise by FULLY answering my questions or I'm filing a complaint with Groupon to have you removed.

A:

The $89 dollar voucher includes 4 walls painted with 2 coats of paint. Labor is included anything more than 2 coats is exrtra, I prefer the customer to move the furniture, but I will do it if necessary, materials meaning tape, plastic & which color paint you want, CALL me to ask more questions. Q:

Is priming necessary if the walls already has white paint on it and since you're going to put on two coats anyway? Can priming be just an option? How much do you charge for painting trim? How much also for moving furniture? How long will it take to paint a 700 SF space with 4 rooms including baseboards, trim and (4) doors?

10-Gmail 0.  asked on  Aug 3, 2012

A:

Yes priming is necessary or bubbles could appear, all additional cost will be included in the estimate, 4-6 Hours.

Miguel I.  from  Merchant  replied on  Aug 3, 2012

A:

Miguel, the above question asked for 4 rooms including baseboards and trim to be painted while the below question asked 1 room with just walls to be painted and both will take 4-6 hours? That doesn't make sense. Is that your generic response regardless of the question? Which one is correct?

JB T.  from  Self  replied on  Aug 3, 2012

Q:

Hi. Besides the paint and primer, what other supplies does the customer need to provide (masking tape, rollers, brushes, drop cloths, etc) or are those materials included with your labor? Also do you recommend I prep (clean or scrub, spackle the holes, etc) the walls prior to you painting it? Will you do all the masking (taping) of the trim, ceiling, doors, etc or customer does that? Last question, for 1 room that's 10x12 and only painting the 4 walls, how many hours does that typically take to complete? Thanks.

Rob P.  asked on  Aug 3, 2012

A:

I will do minor prep, as long as you provide the materials, typically it takes 4-6 Hours to complete,
