What You'll Get
Like glaciers and tectonic plates, teeth are slowly yet surely on the move as they attempt to turn their host’s mouth into frozen tundra and then rip it apart like a bite-size Pangaea. Defeat devious teeth with today’s Groupon: for $2,999, you get a complete Invisalign teeth-straightening treatment from Mike Pulido, DDS in Germantown (a $5,999 value).
Invisalign straightens crooked chompers with a combination of highly advanced, 3-D computer graphics and the spells of old-fashioned orthodontia. The Invisalign process eschews cumbersome braces for clear, removable aligners that are virtually invisible to the unclothed eye. An initial 30-minute exam, including x-rays, photos, and impressions of your mouth terrain, paves the way for a flurry of calibrated teeth sheaths that are designed to slowly shift walnut crackers into perfect alignment. View some Invisalign FAQs here.
Depending on the client’s teeth, as few as 12 or as many as 48 separate aligners will need to be worn during a period of 6–15 months before the straightening effect finally self-actuates in a sudden burst of pink smoke and slobber. Aligners are only removed when eating, brushing, flossing, or modeling a finely clenched jaw.

About Mike Pulido, DDS
Dr. Mike Pulido obviously knows his stuff when it comes to general and cosmetic dentistry. The fluent Spanish speaker has more than 26 years of experience, has served as the president of the Memphis Dental Legion, and is a Premier Preferred Invisalign provider, which, according to the Invisalign website means he has “achieved a significant level of experience in treating patients with the Invisalign system.” But he also refuses to take himself too seriously.
His office motto is “We cater to cowards,” and he and his staff, including his office administrator and son, William, like to dress up as various dental-related things for Halloween, including a tooth fairy and toothpaste dispenser. It’s this relaxed manner and sense of humor that helps calm patients there for everything from dental implants to Zoom! teeth-whitening sessions, which erase stains caused by smoking, drinking wine, or taking the oil epithet "Texas tea" too literally.
