This place stole my money. I bought a groupon, placed an order. Waited weeks with nothing. Finally informed that they were out of some of the spices. Reordered. Waited weeks again. Went through this whole process again and finally gave up.

Never received the spices, and never received a refund. Tried to work with them for the refund, but almost three years later I have not received either.

They suck at fulfilling orders. They send self pitying emails whining about how much money they are losing because of groupon and do not respond to customer inquiries. They also do not honor the groupon codes although they lie.

About This Deal

Before the discovery of spices, chefs used physical gestures to describe meals’ intended tastes, thus inventing yoga and the mimed head explosion. Partake of palate-detonating flavors with today’s Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of spices from the Milford Spice Company.

The Milford Spice Company grinds exotic, all-natural ingredients into flavorful toppings, offering hundreds of culinary character traits to bestow meals with vivacious personality. Enervated eats rejoice at the touch of the Ravensview rib rub grinder, a poignant potpourri of black pepper, sea salt, rosemary, garlic, and onion ($6.99). Deft dishers and dabblers alike can pursue porcine piquancy with the Pontiac Trail Pig Powder, a barbecue rub with an even balance of sweetness and hotness, not unlike a flaming man on a tightrope made of licorice. Milford spices are utilized in several Detroit-area restaurants, including French Laundry, Cinco Lagos, Cuisine, Holly Hotel and the Toasted Oak Restaurant and Grill in Novi. A low flat rate shipping fee (usually $2.50–$4) is available for orders of fewer than $50. Shipping is free for orders of $75 or more.

About Milford Spice Company

The Milford Spice Company grinds exotic, all-natural ingredients into hundreds of flavorful toppings, bestowing meals with vivacious personality. Milford's spice-smashing services began with a single enthusiast, a cook named Laura who sought to combine her experience in sales with her passion for the culinary arts. Her business venture garnered the attention of spice slingers across Michigan and beyond, growing into an online spice supplier that also distributes helpful meal recipes through an online database or through ESP.
