Q:

It's for 6 people.... each person pays $45? or does the $45 cover all? Also, I have 3 adults and a 15 year old, two 7-year olds and a 1.3 year old. Can the 15-year old count as an adult and the 1.3 year old be placed on lap?

Sonja R.  asked on  Mar 23, 2013

A:

The Groupon is for the carriage, not per person. You can fit up to 4 adults and 2 children on the carriage or any combination of that. Most people hold their children that are under the age of 2 on their laps.

Q:

Thanks for your response - I just tried calling to see what your Sunday availability is but there was no answer. I don't need to know specific Sunday availability, but are you able to tell me if most Sundays are open or if they are already pretty booked??

Jessie K.  asked on  Mar 22, 2013

A:

We still have openings, but if you call and get our voicemail, please leave us a message, otherwise we don't know you called.

Q:

Are you supposed to tip the driver?

patricia g.  asked on  Mar 23, 2013

A:

Yes, gratuity is not included with the Groupon. Generally, people tip the drivers, the same as they would at a restaurant, based on the original value.

Q:

It sounds like a lot of fun! I am wheelchair bound (but I do have 1 good leg)...I am wondering if I would be able to get into and out of the carriage without TOO much difficulty. If you think it might be too hard, I understand. I just needed to ask.. I thought it would be nice for our anniversary. Thanks.

Maureen I.  asked on  Mar 22, 2013

A:

Our drivers are more than happy to help folks in and out of the carriages. So that you are aware, a person needs to take two steps to get into the carriage. But again we are more than happy to assist folks in and out of the carriages.

Q:

My husband works weeknites starting at 5pm so the only day we can use this Groupon is a Sunday. I am a little concerned about Sundays booking quickly - but I'd love to buy a groupon. How far in advance do you book rides or would I be able to find out what Sundays are available prior to purchasing? Thanks!

Jessie K.  asked on  Mar 22, 2013

A:

We take reservations, months in advance, so just give us a call and we can let you know what we have available.

Q:

Are these the carriages with retractable tops, or would there be a roof over us?

Katie D.  asked on  Mar 21, 2013

A:

The carriages have tops on them. If it's nice out, we leave them down. If there's a chance of rain, then we leave them up. We do not put the tops up and down for each ride.

Q:

is it a smooth ride (that would be my guess, since on city streets) ... curious if would cause any problems for someone with problems (any different/bumpier/worse than a car ride) ?

Laura S.  asked on  Mar 20, 2013

A:

We would compare it to riding in a truck vs a car. The carriages go a slow pace, basically the same pace of a person walking, so it's not too bumpy.

Q:

No carriage rides during the daytime hours?

Kathleen T.  asked on  Mar 20, 2013

The Groupon is for our regular rides in the evening time. Sundays: 5pm-10pm and Monday thru Thursday: 6pm-10pm.

Q:

We are just two adults who want a private ride. We wouldn't be grouped with other people, would we?

Christine M.  asked on  Mar 20, 2013

A:

No, it's just your group that is on the carriage. We do not put you with strangers.

Yes, the rides start and end from the same location.
