Presented by MilwaukeeFood.com, Miller Lite, and Tabasco, the 9th Annual Milwaukee Chili Bowl celebrates during an afternoon of spicy competition. Representatives from more than 40 restaurants will be on hand competing for the coveted 2015 Golden Ladle Award by dishing out more than 60 varieties of chili in a range of flavors and heat levels. Admission grants each guest eight 3-ounce samples of flavorful meals, and, while supplies last, guests can dip complimentary bread sticks into traditional chili or tackle the depths of specialty chilies such as wild game, vegan, and seafood.
This event includes free parking, and also benefits Hunger Task Force, which aims to prevent hunger and malnutrition throughout Milwaukee. The event area is non-smoking.
MilwaukeeFood.com Inc encourages locals and visitors alike to get out and try the best culinary finds Milwaukee has to offer. The organization hosts events and festivals throughout the year that put the city's best dishes on full display, such as The Big Taste in the summer and the FOX6 Days of Dining in the spring. At each, scores of restaurants from across the culinary landscape compete for prizes such as Best Chili and Highest Volume of Drool Incurred.
