About Mind Body Medicine Acupuncture
Licensed acupuncturist Adam Cantor helms Mind Body Medicine Acupuncture, a Chinese medicine and holistic-health practice. Inspired by his own recovery at the hands of an acupuncturist, Adam now offers his patients the same respite. He studied in both China and the US, learning three distinct styles of acupuncture—traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture physical medicine, and Kiiko Matsumoto style. Armed with his extensive knowledge, Adam inserts tiny, flexible needles into specific body points to encourage natural healing capabilities. He incorporates other modalities including Tui Na, a form of Chinese medical bodywork based on the same principles as acupuncture; qigong, a practice of breathing and movement; and moxibustion, which uses smoldering mugwort to promote the flow of blood and qi.
