What You'll Get
While receiving one’s just deserts can be unpleasant, eating a meal of just desserts is the only way to consume the FDA's recommended daily allowance of frosting. Meet your mouthwatering nutritional needs with today's Groupon to Mind Over Batter. Choose between the following options:
• For $10, you get $20 worth of any pre-baked desserts.
• For $30, you get $60 toward custom order desserts.
Mind Over Batter's bakers adroitly whip batters into cakes, cupcakes, and cake pops found daily on the menu, and custom-craft desserts to suit specific cake needs. A bevy of pre-concocted cupcakes ($2.99 each; $16.99 for 6)—including cookies n' crème, caramel macchiato, and the chocolate-drenched Dark Vader—sweetly celebrate the end of an exhausting work week or a long-awaited promotion to galaxy overlord. Hand-held cake pops, moist confections elegantly placed upon a stick, come in a wide variety of flavors, such as chocolate red velvet and vanilla ($2.29 each; $11.99 for 6), and can be accented by confectionary decorations in a custom order of a dozen ($21.99+). Additionally, bakers craft 8-inch buttercream cakes for every occasion, frosting them with the sharp contrast of chocolate and cream cheese for black-tie events and dying vanilla the color of denim for casual Friday office parties ($55+). Guests can also cool down torrid tongues with a scoop of ice cream and a topping ($2.49) or a whipped-cream-topped sundae ($3.49).

About Mind Over Batter
Mind Over Batter, a confectionery delight in the heart of Tempe, opened its doors on Valentine's Day 2011 and shortly thereafter won the Phoenix New Times' annual Best Cupcakes award. After being dismayed by the banality of store-bought desserts and the lack of business ethics among shadowy sheet-cake cartels, the team at Mind Over Batter decided to set out on their own. The shop bakes cupcakes in an array of traditional and less common flavors, such as peanut butter and strawberry or chocolate chip and fudge, with the bite-sized cakes come adorned in glittering sugar crystals or technicolored layers of creamy icing. Cake pops weigh down skewers with cake spheres dunked into various buttercream icings and candy coatings. Custom-made cakes commemorate baby showers, weddings, or the weddings of love-struck babies with batters such as chocolate red velvet or classic butter yellow, and fillings such as chocolate fudge filling or seasonal fresh fruit.
