Q:

I'm considering purchasing this for myself but have a couple questions. First, if I purchase this groupon, do I just call and make a single appt. at which I show up and have the one hour treatment done, or is this a process that is going to require me to come for multiple visits (consultation, etc.)? Next, how long do teeth typically remain the "new shade" after whitening? In other words, how often is this needed to keep teeth a bright white? Kari

A:

Kari, this is a In Office One-Hour Teeth Whitening Session. We will place a 35% professional grade solution on the teeth and replace it every 20 minutes with new solution. We have a LED light that is placed against the teeth to intensify the white. The teeth whitening can last for a long time. It is all based on what the individual consumes during the days and how they maintain the teeth after the teeth whitening procedure. For example: if the individual smokes or drinks coffee on a regular basis, there will be more staining vs one whom does not. We always strive for the best long lasting results and during the office visit, we go over the proper tools for at home to maintain the white the best possible.

Q:

I'm thinking of buying this for my husband but want to know what type of guarantee you may have. His teeth are discolored from medications his mother took during pregnancy he believes and would like to know if it will help with that also and not just for normal aging, etc....Thanks Kim

A:

Kim, great question. Yes, we have a 4 shade guarantee for our patients. Everyone varies on the shade increase so we want to help as much as possible. In the office, we will go over instructions and tools to help with preventing from staining and maintaining the white. Please feel free to call our office if you need to. Thank you, Jackie
