Children can reveal an artistic temperament at a young age by spattering ice cream on white tablecloths and denying that a pacifier is a pacifier. Encourage an early brush with greatness with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $80 for a four-day summer art camp, valid for the morning or afternoon session (up to a $180 value)
- $120 for a 12-week fall art program (up to a $240 value)
Throughout the summer, sixteen sessions of four-day summer art camps take place, offering morning or afternoon sessions. Kids explore a variety of creative mediums, making several pieces to take home with them, as well as to exhibit in one of two mini art-shows that occur August 2 and 30. In the fall, twelve-week after school classes are open to kids ages 5-12, where they'll paint, draw, sculpt, and make paper art. Kids can participate in three art contests throughout the session to win prizes and art supplies, and participate in a gallery showing at the end of the session to showcase the works they made.
Mini Monetz Art Studio
Mini Monetz Art Studio is a destination for kids to explore their creative curiousities, a place where "messy and creativity are encouraged". Owner Crystal Henthorn encourages kids to unleash their inner artist after school during 12-week programs where they're free to practice painting, drawing, and making the most of ketchup stains on t-shirts. A mother of seven herself, Henthorn has been a creative force since she was just a kid, and hopes to foster that creativity with the children at her studio, whether it's during fall sessions or summer camps to keep idle hands busily creating cool pieces to take home to the all-important fridge gallery.
