This offer is only for new customers or those who have not had an active subscription in the past 90 days. If you are an active subscriber and take this deal, a new order will be entered for you on top of your existing subscription.

More Questions and Answers

Q:

I want to buy this for a gift for my daughter who lives in 55046 zip code which is not on the list of zip codes you show. I am wondering why it is not on the list as they have received the star tribune in the past. (5 months ago) I called Star Tribune today and they said I needed to contact Groupon about that question.

JILL T.  asked on  Dec 14, 2012

A:

I apologize for the trouble. The way this particular deal is set up, it is not valid for the 55046 zip code.

Q:

I didn't see a place to enter my friends address. This was meant to be a gift subscription, how or where do I go to add his address and/or cancel the subscription?

Diane H.  asked on  Dec 13, 2012

A:

When you go to the redemption page, you will have a place to enter the billing address (yours) and the delivery address (your friend). Here is the link to the redemption page : www.startribuneoffers.com/groupon2012

Q:

How do I check to see if my subscription has been active within 90 days? I'm not sure when my delivery stopped. The "Renewal Date" listed when I access my account on the Star Tribune website says 07/09/2012. Is that the date I go by? Thank you!

Amy M. A.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

If you are not sure, but it has been a little while since you've received the paper, then you are likely safe and should go ahead and order. If we get your order and cannot fulfill for any particular reason, we will contact you for options, or guide you to Groupon for a refund if that is necessary.

Q:

Zip code 55357 is not on the list. Is it over looked? I know people get the paper in my neighborhood.

Glen S.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

55357 is indeed a zip code that we can deliver to. It's easy to overlook these, as the list is so large!

Q:

Two questions: 1. My current Sunday subscription is up for renewal (renewal date is 12/3/12). I have not paid for my renewal. Am I eligible to take this offer even though it has not been 90 days if I do not pay my bill? OR 2. Can my daughter (who lives with me) buy the GroupOn subscription? Is the 90 day active subsciption based upon the delivery address or by the name of the subscriber?

Cheri M.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

Your daughter can certainly buy the Groupon subscription and have the account set up in her name. Even though you have not yet paid your invoice for your renewal, you are likely still receiving the paper, so the 90 day countdown starts from the time you no longer receive the paper.

Q:

Can I buy this Sunday subscription but not start it until Feb 2013. If so, will there be instructions on how to delay the subscription start date?

Pam S.  asked on  Dec 11, 2012

A:

Yes, you can do that. The easiest way to do this will be to redeem by calling our customer care center rather than redeeming on line. The on line redemption does not offer an option for delayed start. Customer service is 612.673.7373.
