Accomplished dancer and personal trainer Lesa G. Williams created the Mix Studio to spread her unique ilk of rhythmic aerobics to exercisers in search of a fresh regimen. The five-class pack allows burn feelers to dabble in a diversity of fitness sessions or focus on a quintet of the same fat-burning seminar.
Daydreams of zen ballerinas and pirouetting bodybuilders become reality with the titular Mix technique class, a calisthenic cocktail of yoga, Pilates, ballet barre, and floor barre. The one-hour lesson isolates the specialized movements of dancers, yogis, and core correctors, reconstituting them into exercises of endurance, muscle toning, and flexibility.
In the yoga Mix session, Lesa and her colleagues interweave four types of the popular Eastern modality to form a Voltron of relaxation and physical control, and the dance Mix class bends bodies through a variety of graceful techniques.
All classes remain small, allowing each participant the attention necessary for an effective workout. The schedule runs Monday through Saturday, with time slots catering to nine-to-fivers, stay-at-homers, and athletic insomniacs.

Green combines ballet barre exercises with Pilates and yoga techniques in her signature class, The MIX Technique. Sessions help clients to build stronger cores and leaner muscles and can be complemented by sessions of massage, acupuncture, or personal training. The studio also offers yoga for all speeds, including slow-practice yin yoga and yoked yoga, which blends yoga with weights and cardio work. Guests can slow down even more with bedtime yoga classes conducted by candlelight or stop in for a monthly Yoga Winedown, where guests can stretch their arms out for another glass of refreshing grape blood.
