Regular practice with hands on adjustments will help give you the tools to combat your daily stresses. And just like life, the practice can be difficult some days and easier on other days. The practice helps get you through hard times in your personal-, business-, and family-life. So, it's not just a exercise it's a form of movement therapy.
Do you believe in the maxim, "No pain, no gain”? Why or why not?
Tapas is a word used in yoga which means to burn. We must burn old latent impressions, and in order to heal we have to feel. We as people tend to avoid the things that are difficult in our lives just like certain yoga postures, but the practice at a shala (yoga home) gives you support.
What is a typical session of your program or class like for a student?
A cardio workout, a restorative release, or both at the same time. It's a grounding, growing experiences.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
MJ yoga gives you the ability to feel like a kid again, while finding alignment with a exercise you can do your whole life.
