Julia Capdevila has been in love with horses since she was 7. And, fortunately for her, she had the lineage to turn that passion into a career. Having come from an Argentinian family with an excellent reputation for horse handling, she quickly learned how to handle the steeds, as well as how to care for them and bring a delicate touch to her interactions with them. Today, she owns her own 26-acre ranch, complete with a full-size dressage arena and play field. There, she teaches newcomers basic equestrian skills and helps spread a greater appreciation for horses. Moccasin Stables campers will gain confidence, patience, and determination through developing horsemanship skills, and horse lovers will grow in character and skill with their favorite pony.
