What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

Modrn Sanctuary is a luxury wellness center that has 15 treatment rooms, 5,000 square feet of space, and is home to several unique treatments found nowhere else together in NYC. These three treatments, which all incorporate light, sound, and natural healing materials are:

• A 200 square foot luxury Himalayan Salt Room that has heated floors, color changing walls, and relaxing papasan chairs while you relax to soothing music
• Quantum Resonance Crystal Light Bed that uses seven 24-sided Vogel cut crystals, binaural beats, vibration therapy, and an infrared biomat.
• Somadome meditation pod that incorporated BioSyntonie tiles, guided meditations, binaural beats, and light therapy

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

Its all about Home, Energy, and Intention. Which is how we designed our 5,000+ square-foot space. Modrn Sanctuary melds East and West and old and new to create a unique and soothing harmony. When creating the ambiance, the designers played with the influence of the subconscious mind by using elements of sensory deprivation, including black crocodile textured walls, to enhance the experience. The main lounge, which offers free wi-fi, features beautifully sculpted imported antique Balinese doors, a suspended dark wicker chair for lounging, and comfortable seating. The center has a beautiful view of the Empire State building and curated contemporary art from local and European artists is displayed throughout space. The Himalayan Salt Room, one of only four in the city, is being created for halo-therapy. The 200-square-foot space will be lined with salt brick walls and heated salt floors.

What do you love most about your job?

Helping people heal by offering the most inclusive menu of services in our facility. What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

That being able to treat their mind, body and soul through the several treatments has changed her life.
