Two-hour sushi classes are held the first Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. During each class, students sip a glass of wine and eat a salad before a ceviche demonstration and sampling, and then they learn how to make their own sushi and catch their own wild cucumbers in snares. The class also covers how to make rice and stock a sushi-ready pantry, and it concludes with dessert. Private sushi lessons can be scheduled anytime Sunday–Wednesday and before 5 p.m. Thursday–Saturday. The private parties take place at Mohegan’s Club Sushi and Steaks and include a pickup and drop-off limo service anywhere in Onondaga County or within 20 miles of Baldwinsville.<p>
Built by renowned architect Ward Wellington Ward in 1910, Mohegan Manor’s recent renovations restored grandeur to the 100-year-old building. The manor's classic, rich menu and matching interior make it an ideal space for hosting wedding and union ceremonies, receptions, and parties. A main ballroom dazzles with a 22-foot domed ceiling, hardwood floors, and a 15'x30' mural painted with the first oils to extend a hand of friendship toward water. The four-story edifice also houses two traditional restaurants, Mohegan Manor and Club Sushi & Steaks. Live entertainment can be enjoyed on weekends at Club Sushi & Steaks.
