The Twitterverse's love for Mojave runs deep. One guy describes the carne asada tacos as "ridiculous". (The good kind of ridiculous.) Someone else laments being "long overdue for a #SANGRITA". Another fan boldly states that Mojave serves their "FAVORITE MEAL IN THE WHOLE WORLD". (All caps? You know they meant business.)
That adoration isn't wholly surprising, though, as Mojave manages to put an unexpected twist on familiar Mexican-Southwestern dishes. Interesting proteins abound—there are mussels steamed in tequila and chipotle; short-rib quesadillas with roasted corn; and enchiladas loaded with wild duck breast, caramelized apples, gruyere, and mole negro. Oh, and those aforementioned sangritas are served during dinner and brunch.
