- C$35 for a 90-minute therapeutic ocean float-room session (C$89 value)
The Ocean float roam treatment shares more in common with the Dead Sea than the deep sea; the 10-inch deep pool of Epson salt water is so dense with salt that human bodies simply drift atop it, held aloft by natural bouyancy. The 8-foot by 4-foot pool provides plenty of space to drift in, and the private room features underwater LED light, a starlight cathedral ceiling, and no disturbances for one hour. Afterwards, visitors can his the showers and finish off their treatment with a 15-minute steam.
Moksha Yoga Guelph
At Moksha Yoga Guelph, the hot yoga series starts with a deceptively simple pose—Savasana, or corpse pose, in which participants lie flat on their backs. The vigorous, toning series accelerates from there, though. Participants work up a sweat in a sequence of standing poses, then a series of floor poses, before circling back to their original passive posture.
The center doesn't focus exclusively on yoga, though—other wellness options abound. In the Ocean float room, for example, visitors float in a pool dense with salt, lit by underwater LED lights and a star-studded cathedral ceiling. The center's steam showers, meanwhile, deep-clean pores and strip away toxins, leaving physiques feeling refreshed.
