Amazing experience! Would go again even just to rent boards from them! Me and my boyfriend basically got a private lesson since it ended up just being us two. Great time definitely a must do while in Hawaii. Great instruction and great time!

This is my kids' 3rd lesson at Moku. I (the kids) experienced 3 instructors, and the kids wanted to come back to learn from tattoo Brian on the morning of our departure. According to the kids, tattoo Brian is the best, and I see he loves both kids and surfing. :)

Great and friendly service. Parking can be hard but there’s a small lot on Prince Edward that isn’t too expensive. 10/10 would recommend.

Louie was great and so fun to be around. Me and my daughter did the semi private lesson and it was amazing. Really built up our confidence and can’t wait to do another lesson. Highly recommended!

About Moku Surf Rentals & Board Shop
Moku Surf Rentals & Board Shop's instructors have 99% success rate when it comes to first-timers standing up on their surfboards. Newcomers always begin on dry land, learning balance and the basic movements of surfing. Once they're confident, the students walk over to Honolulu's famous Waikiki Beach and wade into the cool, clear water. The beginning surfers learn how to paddle to catch each new break, stand on their board, and ride the wave back to the shore.
The board shop serves people who are more experienced on the waves. It rents out body boards, standup paddleboards, and surf boards—both long and short—for a variety of time periods. Customers can reserve a board for anywhere from one hour to multiple days at a time. An onsite changing room is available.
