What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

Momique is a Motherhood Center and Maternity Boutique focusing on providing pregnant women, new moms, and been-there-done-that mothers an opportunity to connect with each other, work out and take fitness classes designed just for them, and engage in social activities like Paint Nights, Game Nights, and Girls Nights Out. We also have an entire boutique dedicated to previously loved, excellent condition maternity and nursing clothing. We're a one-stop-shop for local moms and their kids.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

Our founder, Amanda, has an 8 month old daughter. When her daughter was born, she realized that there was nothing like Momique in the marketplace and she wanted to provide other mothers with social connection, support, and fitness all under one roof.

What do you love most about your job?

At Momique, we're one big extended family. We don't feel like we're at work when we're here. The time flies when we get to interact with moms of all ages and stages and help them find the support, clothes, or fitness opportunities they've been searching for.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

Many of our mothers have explained that we've saved their lives from Post-Partum Depression. Although we're not clinicians, the support that mothers find in our center truly helps overcome some of the hardest and challenging times that mothers can face.
