About Monday Night Garage
Monday Night Brewing is an Atlanta-based craft brewery. They brew beers for the weeknights – balanced, flavorful ales that pair well with food. Believe it or not, the idea for Monday Night Brewing grew out of a small Atlanta Bible study. They started brewing beer together on Monday nights as a way to get to know each other better. As they got more engrained in the industry and more people started showing up to brew, beer quickly became more than just a weeknight hobby. They spent almost 5 years perfecting beers before bringing them to market. Years of minor tweaks, arguments over hop profiles, and experiments with different brands of base malts are poured into every glass that we brew. In September 2017, they opened their second facility. The Garage, located in the Lee + White development in southwest Atlanta, is a home for barrel aged, sour beers and experimentation. Plus dinosaurs. Different brews here include:
- I’m On A Boat: (4.8% ABV) This easy-to-drink American Golden Ale is made with Pilsner malt and wheat for a fresh, smooth sip. Finishes with Lemondrop hops for a bit of a bite, calling to mind crisp summer days near the water.
- Slap Fight IPA: (5.8% ABV) Fruity notes of papaya, orange, and grapefruit blend with herbal hops. A west-coast profile meets tropical hops in this contradictory brew that's a slap in the face.
- Drafty Kilt: (7.2% ABV) Smoked malt dominates the flavor profile in this Scotch ale for a strong brew that pairs well with rich chocolates and strong cheeses.
