During guided tours, groups discover the history behind some of Billings’ oldest (and most iconic) landmarks. Tours begin at the historic Moss Mansion, where groups explore a stately turn-of-the-20th-century house designed by the architectural mind behind New York’s Waldorf Astoria and Plaza Hotels. Led by a seasoned guide, groups then board one of the company’s vans or buses in search of more destinations, including the cowboy graves of Boothill Cemetery, the Rimrocks, and the vista-filled overlooks of Swords Park. Along the way, they’ll also learn about some of the colorful characters who passed through the Billings of yesteryear, hearing tales of Calamity Jane, Buffalo Bill Cody, and Liver-Eating Johnson.
Montana Fun Adventure Tours
Renee and Lee Christiansen run Montana Fun Adventure Tours for the simple purpose of sharing the stories and sights of their home state. Their ancestors farmed and ranched in the region, dug coal from the hills, and even built the railroads that still run through the country. Thus, the Christiansens have plenty of local knowledge to share, whether they're leading an sunset Jeep tour through the mountains or visiting every microbrewery in the region. Their knowledge extends to destinations all over Big Sky Country, including, of course, Yellowstone.
