Monteverde at Oldstone is an 18th century estate located on 27 acres in Cortlandt Manor, initially built by the Van Cortlandt family around 1760. The views are beautiful, overlooking the Hudson River and the mansion was restored and now presents itself as a charming and elegant estate mixed with modern luxuries. On warm evenings guests are encouraged to eat outside and admire the sunset underneath a 100-year-old grape arbor with breathtaking vistas. Monteverde at Oldstone offers contemporary American cuisine prepared by chef Eric Korn who designed the menu based on his outlook. The dishes vary from smokey mussels, roasted pork belly, pasta, duck breast, ribs, and many more. Monteverde at Oldstone is not just a restaurant though, as it also offers accommodation in a separate Garden House that has 6 European styled guest rooms. The venue is perfect for weddings as the natural setting has all the elements that a bride-to-be would want – amazing Hudson River views, rolling lawns, a sweeping stone staircase, and an outdoor stone patio. Monteverde is also ideal for corporate events as it offers complete privacy for its guests and a lot of space with a grand tented venue accommodating 350 people for dinner and dancing and 450 people for a cocktail reception.
