What You'll Get
Thriving in the outdoors demands skills that many of us no longer have, such as foraging for ripe fruits or finding enough tree bark to feed your horse. Spark your instincts with this Groupon.
Choose from Three Options
- $21 for fall apple picking and cider making for two (a $43.50 value)
- $43 for fall apple picking and cider making for four (an $87 value)
- $57 for fall apple picking, cider making, and corn maze for four (a $114 value)
This Groupon is redeemable at 1 p.m. Friday–Sunday and at 10 a.m. Saturday–Sunday.
Guides lead a team of visitors through the apple orchard, picking the ripest candidates from the ten varieties of apples available. Afterwards, they head to an old-fashioned cider press to make some take-home beverages. Visitors can also opt to head into the six-acre corn maze to test their navigational skills, and answer trivia questions––those who successfully answer all the questions will earn a patch, which they can pick up inside the store. Each customer will take home a half peck (approximately 5 pounds) of apples and a half gallon of apply cider.

About Montgomery Orchard
Today, the crew at Montgomery Orchard hosts plenty of family friendly entertainments. They welcome visitors for self-guided tours through the beautiful prairie, and also invite them to come pluck 12 varieties of apples—not to mention pears and plums—fresh from the trees during harvest season. The six-acre corn maze is divided into two halves, with one side being shorter and well-suited for families with small children, and a second side which is longer and will require more time to complete. A cidery/winery is also on-site, allowing adults to purchase a glass of wine or participate in a tasting.
