The first thing you should know is the owner although very sweet, has a very thick Asian accent that you may have a hard time understanding. Like others have said, we arrived for my reserved time and found the place completely closed. Lights off, door locked. This was odd considering they were supposed to be open at 7 p.m. and we arrived at 7:55 p.m. Currently they are supposed to be on winter hours opening Thursday- Sunday only, but it seems like they're really only open when you have a reservation. Groupon needs to fix where it says the groupon can be used Monday-Thursday. I called and she was there in less than 5 minutes. My group and 1 other group seemed to be the only ones in that night and honestly the 2nd group may have just been her family members there to watch her back. I booked from 8-10 and my sister booked from 10-midnight. We had the room with the musical notes painted on the wall. We were able to bring in a small dessert setup for my guests like cupcakes and chocolates, but drinks are not allowed as they want you to spend at the bar. I personally bought 2 mixed drinks and 1 beer, while some of my guests purchased mixed drinks, beer, and shots. 1 guest said her Corona tasted like it had been in the fridge for years, yuck! You should know that even though it says you can print your voucher out and present it the day of your reservation, she doesn't have anything to scan that. Save your paper & ink and just open groupon and pull up the voucher in front of her so she can click redeemed on it. As for the song selection, the machine is deceptive. It tells you there are over 2200 PAGES of songs (8-10 per page) but honestly there are no songs loadable after about page 315, they all say "no load". Therefore, there are probably over 2500 songs to choose from, not over 25,000. Some songs are listed 2 or 3 times, some have the wrong artist listed, but there's a little bit of everything. Just don't expect a bunch of Cardi B or other recent music like that. At the end of the night, the owner gave me a gift bag saying it was my birthday gift from her. The bag contained a bag of Caramel popcorn, and a 4 pack of Belgium Chocolate covered marshmallows. Then she made me pay an additional $9 but I don't know what it was for because again, her accent is heavy and hard to understand. I know all the drinks were paid for before she even handed them over. We cleaned up after ourselves and put all the trash in the trash can. Before noticing I had brought plates & napkins, my guests did ask her for plates & napkins. Maybe that's what the additional $9 was for, but that's ridiculous for a few saucer sized paper plates and napkins. I know she couldn't have been charging me $9 more for the final hour because my sister and other guests had to leave at 11 pm due to work the next morning, the whole night was already paid for whether my sister stayed or not. We might buy another deal in the summer, but we'll have to see.
