Q:

I would like to purchase this, but if I am going to have the single kayak for more than 2 hours, would I need to pay the full price of a 3-4 hour rental, or could this work in conjunction with the longer rental discounting the first two hours? Thanks,

Eric M.  asked on  May 2, 2014

A:

Yes, the Groupon would cover your first two hours. After that you would pay a pro-rated fee or our regular rates ($14/hr)... so if you went 2 hours and 45 minutes in a single kayak you would just owe an additional $10.50 plus tax.

Q:

Hi, I have one 6 year old one 9 year old--can we all fit together in one of these? Which?

A:

Sorry, we do not have a triple kayak. Putting two younger children in one cockpit can make the boat a bit more unstable and unsafe.

Q:

Hi, This is about $15 for one 2-hour paddleboard rental ($30 value). Does 2 person can sit on on paddleboard? Or for each person, $15 to be paid? Thanks, Jignesh

John K.  asked on  May 1, 2014

A:

The $15 option is valid for one person to enjoy one paddle board rental for 2 hours.

A:

Two adults wouldn't fit well on one board. One adult and smaller child would no problem. The more weight the more 'tippy' the board. So no two adults couldn't share one voucher... sorry.

Q:

Hi, my very responsible son is 19 and my equally responsible :) grandson is 15, can I purchase this deal for them to enjoy with out me? Can my 19 year old son be responsible for my grandson, I can come and sign for responsibility but just wont be out on the water with them? Thanks! Teri

Teri C.  asked on  May 1, 2014

A:

Participants must be 18 or older.

A:

Hi, Unfortunately if you are under 18 you must have a parent or legal guardian out on the water with you. You can go in your own boat under 18 but not without 'supervision'. Hope to see you out here, Kevin

Q:

HI there, Fine Print says "must be 18 or older"... does that mean the purchaser, or all passengers (if we bought the deal for the double)? I was thinking this would be a fun activity to do with my 6 year old son. Let me know, please! Thanks.

S B.  asked on  May 1, 2014

A:

Hi! Yes, you must be 18 to PURCHASE a rental voucher. .. But as long as a parent or legal guardian is out on the water at the same time minors (17 and under) are welcome to join in on the fun (in a double with mom/dad etc or in their own single boat or paddle board). Upon arrival to our docks we will hold onto the ID of the adult and at that time you will sign a waiver for yourself and child. Hope to see you on the docks this summer!
