Produced by Motor Trend, the 2012 Greater Milwaukee Auto Show greets car-lovers with an array of automotive attractions that highlights the most popular new rides and exotic vehicles. Visitors grip wheels, shift into gear, and terrify vacationing insects with test-drives of the latest Chrysler land vessels, including the Dodge Charger and Fiat 500. Pre-production displays showcase the next step in vehicular advancements by rolling out autos such as the 2013 Ford Mustang.

A Maserati display treats eyes to up-close peeks at some of the world’s most coveted steel steeds, and the Chevrolet, Buick, GMC Experience the Drive demonstrates how the Chevrolet Volt utilizes electric power without the aid of an enormous child with a remote control. This show also features King Robota, the 8-foot comic-bot robot, who entertains patrons from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, and noon to 5 p.m Sunday, March 4.

Families can coordinate their visit to overlap with Kids’ Day on March 4, which admits children 12 and younger for free with a paying adult or an artificially intelligent car. Admission to the auto show is normally free for children 6 and younger, $5 for kids aged 7–12, $8 for students with ID, and $8 senior citizens 62 and older on weekdays.
