Choose Between Two Options
- $97 for a Basic RiderCourse for one (a $195 value)
- $189 for a Basic RiderCourse for two (a $390 value)
The Basic RiderCourse is divided into five hours of classroom learning and 10 hours of actual motorcycle-riding practice. All in all, the course builds a solid, safe foundation for novice riders. While riding provided motorcycles within the closed course, riders develop skills such as controlling the clutch and throttle, riding in a straight line, stopping, cornering, and swerving. Classroom instruction complements physical technique with steps for minimizing risk and handling special situations. The Motorcycle Training Academy also provides the mandatory riding helmet, and students may qualify for a motorcycle-license-test waiver upon completion.

About Motorcycle Training Academy
At Motorcycle Training Academy, an elite team of Motorcycle Safety Foundation–certified coaches teaches motorcycle riders of every experience level how to ride more safely and defensively. The wide variety of classes start novices out with the fundamentals in the Basic RiderCourse and helps more-seasoned riders branch out with advanced classes such as motorcycle maintenance, scooters, and first aid. Depending on the class, students operate the academy’s motorcycles or their own on a closed-circuit course, where they’ll be able to practice sharing the road away from the hustle, bustle, and randomly placed daredevil jumps typical of a busy street.
