What You'll Get
Seeing live music can be a transcendent mind-body experience, akin to getting a tattoo underwater or making out during an eclipse. Transcend boredom with today's Groupon: for $30, you get one general-admission ticket (up to a $62 value) to an all-ages performance of the Motown revue Hitzville: The Show at the V Theater, located among the Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Shows run Monday–Saturday starting at 5:30 p.m.
Featuring iconic songs from the likes of The Temptations, Tina Turner, and The Four Tops, Hitzville: The Show sparks soulful swaying, grooving, and hip shimmying among cast members and audiences alike. During the revue, an all-female trio, an all-male quartet, and the all-dulcet seven-piece Hitzville Band—including Stevie Wonder's guitarist and Diana Ross's drummer—dig into deep veins of rhythmic ore. Star and producer Jin-Jin Reeves belts Gladys Knight and Diana Ross hits straight to the back of the 36,000-square-foot theater, and glamorously dressed backup singers call, respond, and occasionally leave voicemails in hearty harmony. The performance is family friendly, so attendees should feel free to bring children and prudish fourth cousins along for the ride. The V Theater's amphitheater irrigates thirsty audiences with a full bar and cocktail service, as well as an obliging team of Super Soaker–armed ushers.

About V Theater
Producer and V Theater owner David Saxe was born into Vegas show business, raised by a mother who danced at Les Folies Bergere and a father who led the band for the Rat Pack. Saxe’s V Theater runs its nine concurrent shows in a 40,000-square-foot space divided into four showrooms on multiple floors, each retaining an intimate feeling with seating that brings the audience closer to performers. The V Theater’s current shows range from a seven-act, family-friendly Ultimate Variety Show to Marc Savard’s Comedy Hypnosis, an entertaining act where Savard persuades audience members to hilariously dance, act like animals, and ghostwrite his autobiography.
