$2,499 for LASIK Surgery for Both Eyes ($5,900 Value)
Dr. Motwani corrects eyesight by reshaping corneas with a Nidek laser during traditional LASIK surgery. This is done after he thoroughly numbs eyes with anesthetic drops and forms a miniscule flap in the tissue guarding the cornea. The entire process lasts less than 20 minutes. The surgery includes follow-up care and any necessary enhancements for one year after the procedure. Patients may opt to upgrade to custom LASIK, performed by the Allegretto Wave 400Hz laser, in which 3-D measurements of the eye are taken to better account for subtle vision distortions and the laser corrects aberrations to possibly increase a patient's chances of achieving 20/20 vision or better. Custom LASIK or for treating hyperopia and hyperopic astigmatism is an additional $300 per eye . All hyperopic treatments are done on the Allegretto.
