What You'll Get
A movie theater is like a middle-school dance: the lights are dim, there’s not much talking, and it’s an acceptable place to cry in public. Make a date with this Groupon.
Choose from Three Options
- $9 for one movie ticket (a $10 value), one small popcorn (a $4.75 value), and one small soft drink (a $4.50 value; up to a $19.25 total value)
- $16 for two movie tickets (a $10 value each), two small popcorns (a $4.75 value each), and two small soft drinks (a $4.50 value each; up to a $38.50 total value)
- $29 for four movie tickets (a $10 value each), four small popcorns (a $4.75 value each), and four small soft drinks (a $4.50 value each; up to a $77 total value)

The movie schedule rotates frequently, but currently includes “The Cabin in the Woods,” a tongue-in-cheek riff on sleep-away slasher flicks, and “Chimpanzee,” the story of a rambunctious primate narrated by Tim Allen.

Although Movie World Cinemas sometime offers discounted prices online, this Groupon is still the best deal available.

About Movie World Cinemas
At Movie World Cinemas, a recently added café draws in early arrivers with pizza, chicken tenders, fries and fresh cappuccinos. Patrons can linger there before heading to one of seven handsome screening chambers with projection capacity for traditional film and 3-D movies. Once inside, guests recline on shiny, new seats styled by Mobiliario Seating. Each throne includes cushy upholstery, a built-in cup holder, and ergonomically engineered lumbar support. Newly installed digital projectors show crystal-clear images while digital surround-sound speakers shake seats with the screeches of onscreen car chases and the weeping of James Bond’s dry cleaner. In the large main lobby, the digital burble of a small arcade stirs air scented heavily by sunshine-hued popcorn. The staff has spent the past few years working on a series of updates and improvements, and the movie palace regularly hosts special events and children’s parties.
